Class Description

We will spend a relaxed afternoon in our modern spacious kitchen making a number of classic Japanese sweets that are typically enjoyed across Japan. These will include a selection of daifuku with delicious fillings such as red bean paste, matcha, black sesame, strawberry and chocolate, traditional sanshoku dango (three colour mochi skewers) and baked mochi doughnuts. All to take away with you in a gift box (or to treat yourself!) Dietary information: This class can be adapted for most diets provided we are given plenty of notice of all dietary requirements and/or allergies, please contact us to discuss before booking. Tickets for this event include: • professional cookery tuition• all ingredients and equipment• hot drinks throughout the session• all sweet treats packaged up to take away with you• all recipes from the class. Any profits raised from this class support our community cookery activities – where everyone can experience the benefits of cooking and eating together, regardless of finance, confidence or ability.
